Your squad, right next to you.
Close enough to count.
Squadjacent turns wherever you are into a private space for you and the people you choose. Open the app, share your space, and everyone nearby just joins — voice and text, no accounts, no fuss.
Early days
Squadjacent just launched. There will be rough edges and bugs — please tell us when you find them. We're shipping fixes and new ideas every week.
A little bubble of “us” in a sea of everyone else
Built for hobby crews on the move — at the gym, on the bikes, out on the water.

Zero-config proximity
No invites to type, no rooms to name. Share your space and the people physically near you appear, ready to join with a tap.

Live voice that follows you
Voice activation keeps the conversation flowing while your phone is locked or in your pocket. Built around real Bluetooth headsets, so your music and your crew coexist.

Group text that keeps up
Server-authoritative messages fan out instantly to everyone in the space, so nobody misses the plan.

Tune in together
As the host, pick an internet radio station and everyone in your space listens together, with synced volume control.

Yours and only yours
A space is just for the people you let in. Your identity stays on your device; we don’t ask for a phone number or an email.

No accounts, ever
Pick a name, pick an avatar, you’re in. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to remember.

See who’s around
Live presence shows exactly who’s in your space right now and who’s nearby and could join.

Three taps and you’re talking
1Open & share your space
Launch Squadjacent and start a space. That’s the invisible bubble your crew will pop into.
2Nearby people join
Anyone close by sees your space and taps to join — or scan a QR code to come straight in.
3Talk, type, go
Voice and text flow to everyone in the space. Leave whenever; the space is gone when you’re done.
Where Squadjacent is going
We're just getting started. New features arrive as part of a subscription — Essentials, Pro and Ultimate. The proximity app you have today stays free.
- Essentials
Agent in your space
Your own AI agent, hosted for you and ready on demand. Ask it to fetch facts, summarize the chat, or take action while everyone listens.
- Pro
Scribes
AI captures your conversation as a searchable transcript with action items and highlights — perfect for meetings, rides, and recaps.
- Ultimate
Spatial voice
Squadmates' voices come from where they actually are — your friend in the boat on your left sounds on your left. Presence, not just chat.
- Ultimate
Watch your back
Opt-in safety net for rides, hikes, and rough water. Your phone spots a fall or a sudden stop and pings your squad before you can — friends, not strangers.
- Essentials
Pulse
Your squad as a soft heartbeat on Apple Watch. A glance — no buzz, no screen — togetherness when your hands are busy.
- Pro
Yesterday's Space
Your spaces don't vanish. Scrub back through the audio, chat and photos like a podcast — find the moment you actually decided that thing.
- Essentials
Whisper
Touch a squadmate, voice goes only to them. Tell your spotter to fix their form, your sweep rider to fuel up — without the whole crew hearing.
- Pro
Echolocation
Lost your squad at the festival? Tap once — their phones chirp, you see the arrow. Direction and distance, even in a 40,000-person crowd.
- Ultimate
Phone bridge
Bring a regular phone call into your space, or have your squad call out — so people who don't have the app still join the conversation.
- Essentials
Voice messages
Drop a voice memo when the squad's not around — they hear it the moment they open the app.
- Pro
Video messages
Send a short video clip to your space — quick context when words and voice aren't enough.
- Pro
Live group video
Stand-up-style group video calls for when you can't actually be in the same place.
Plans, not promises — timeline subject to change.
Good questions
Do I need an account?
No. You choose a display name and an avatar on first launch and that’s it — no email, no phone number, no password.
How close is “nearby”?
Discovery uses your phone’s local radios, so it’s roughly the same range as being able to see each other — a room, a parking lot, a cluster of bikes.
Does it need internet?
Finding people nearby works on local radios. Voice and the group chat use a connection to keep everyone in sync.
Is it private?
A space only contains the people you let in, and your cryptographic identity never leaves your device. We don’t sell data or show ads.
Is there an Android version?
Squadjacent is iPhone-first. Android is on the roadmap — leave us a note via Support and we’ll tell you when it lands.
What does it cost?
Squadjacent is free to start. If that ever changes, we’ll be upfront about it.
